About this day tour
Materuni village sits in the green foothills above Moshi. A guided walk through Chagga farmland takes you to the foot of a waterfall around 80 metres tall. Afterwards a local family shows you their coffee from bean to cup — picking, roasting over the fire and pounding to a work song — before a home-cooked lunch.
Good for: First-time visitors, culture lovers and acclimatisation days before a climb.
